Our Services
PACKING & ASSEMBLING
Inserting products into retail & trade packing configurations such as Bags, Blisters or carton.
Packing & Assembly refers to any tasks that require manual labour for assembling and/or packing products. Hand packing refers to the process of packing components into bags, blisters or boxes. Assembly is a process where individual parts are put together to form a complete product for sale. Manual operations are often necessary when handling large volumes of small items (collating) and counting by hand.
PRODUCT LABELLING
Application of labels for any product, promotional item or rework of incorrect or no compliant labels.
Product labelling is the process by which information is added to an item in order to identify the product. Labelling work is a critical aspect of the manufacturing process in order to mark products for retail.
The information on a label can include anything such as weight, description, expiry dates etc. It usually has to meet government guidelines and any other specific requirements of the company who outsources it to the manufacturer.
Labels can be applied manually or semi-automatically. Manual application can include writing on the product, filling out a form, or using adhesive labels. Semi-automatic labelling includes typesetting computer generated labels that are printed onto adhesive labels ready for manual application to the product.
HEAT SEALING
To seal product in a non tamper application.
Heat sealing is the process of sealing one thermoplastic to another similar thermoplastic using heat and pressure. The direct contact method of heat sealing utilizes a constantly heated die or sealing bar to apply heat to a specific contact area or path to seal or weld the thermoplastics together
SHRINK WRAPPING
Shrinkwrap is use to protect, bundle or promote a product.
Shrink wrapping is a protective, two-sided polyethylene solution-coated sleeve or wrap that seals tight around any container. The shrink sleeve provides tamper evident protection in addition to other benefits like improved product display, reduced freight damage, extended shelf life and increased safety. Shrink wraps are usually wrapped around a product and then shrunk or heat sealed into place at one end of the product
QUALITY CONTROL & PRODUCT INSPECTIONS
Inspection & verification of products to meet specific regulatory, brand or labelling requirements.
Product inspection and quality control is the final stage in the supply chain, but it’s also one of the most important. Product inspection identifies any errors or quality-related defects in a product. Quality control verifies that the products are compliant with regulatory requirements and brand specifications, as well as any labelling needs.
PROMOTIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Promotional requirements are the capacity to promote a new or old product where you either wish to introduce it to the marketplace or promote sales of the product. This is usually short-lived. The goal is for these actions to motivate customers to purchase the item.
